April Beauty Favorites 2014

Hello chicas!

It's been way too long since I posted something here, and for that I'm very sorry. I lost my inspiration for a while and during this time I also misplaced my memory card for my camera. I'm back now and I hope you'll like my upcoming posts!

First one up are my favorite products for April.

KIKO FACE SKIN GLOW

Dagkräm som ger fin lyster till huden. Ibland har jag haft enbart den och ibland foundation på. SPF 10

L'ORÉAL NUDE MAGIQUE CC CREAM (ca 169kr) 

Från första dagen jag testade denna CC cream har jag i princip inte använt annat något annat som foundation. Tunn kräm som känns väldigt lätt på huden men ger en fantastisk jämn och flawless finish. Funkar även väldigt bra som primer under din vanliga foundation. 

L'ORÉAL SKIN PERFECTION

En primer som jämnar ut bl.a. porer och fina linjer, ger en fin canvas att lägga makeupen ovanpå.  

YSL FLOWER CRUSH PALETTE (Australien)

Rosy Blush. Som vanligt en supersnygg förpackning! Snygg blush i ljusrosa nyans med skimmer och även lite lite glitterkorn, vilket jag vanligtvis inte är så förtjust i men funkar för denna produkt, som även kan användas som highlighter om man är lätt på hand. 

MAC MINERALIZED SKINFINISH (Limited Edition)

Perfect topping. Det jag kan säga är - denna highlighter gives me life! Detta måste vara min all time favorite highlighter som jag äger. Tyvärr kom den i en kollektion tidigare i år och ingår inte i MACs vanliga sortiment, men ville ändå ha med den i detta inlägg

NYX ROUGE CREAM BLUSH (ca 125kr)

Glow. När vi går mot varmare dagar tycker jag personligen om att använda cream blushes. Det ger en mer dewy finish vilket jag gillar. Har två olika nyanser av NYXs cream blush och är nöjd med båda!

Urban Decay Naked 3 palette - Review and Swatches

I have to say that I have the sweetest baby sis ever! As you could read a few days ago she got me an INGLOT eyeshadow palette for christmas - which I love! And last week she gave me another gift - the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette!! I've been trying to get a hold of it since the launch date, but getting things in Sweden or to Sweden can be pretty hard sometimes. We have a mutual friend that was on vacation in the States recently and my sis, knowing how much I wanted the new UD palette, called her and asked if she could look for it. So a BIG thank you to Ramta as well for actually looking for it and bringing it here.

Alright let's get started with this little review (a bit late, I know)
     First of all this palette is totaly different from the 2 previous Naked palettes which contains beautiful neutrals, brown and gold shades. Naked 3 comes with 12 all new eyeshadows in marvelous rose toned neutrals. 

Starting with the packaging, The Naked 3 palette has the same metal tin snap case packaging as the Naked 2 which is much more durable then the cardboard packaging that the the original Naked has. It includes a dual ended brush, a weeks worth of use of 4 of UDs primer posions - Original, Sin, Eden and Anti Aging which is really nice. 

As said, the palette comes with 12 brand new shades of rose toned neutrals, from light to dark, which contains three matte shades and nine shimmery shades. And as always the UB shadows are highly pigmented and easy to blend. With this palette you can easily create both daytime and night time looks.

My overall thoughts of the UB Naked 3 palette is that I love it! It's different from the previous two (which I really love too!), the colours and quality of the eyeshadows are exceptional.

Lipstick's by Milani

Hello ladies!

Den senaste tiden har jag fastnat för läppstift! Så här till hösten/vintern tycker jag det är superläckert med mörka läppar, speciellt på andra. Tyvärr är jag ibland lite för feg för att själv i att gå ut med det. Har köpt på mig ett gäng läppstift på senaste, så jag försöker att nån gång då och då att slänga på nån mörk färg och gå ut för att vänja mig. 

Här är fyra helt fantastiska färger som jag fått i från USA, från märket Milani som tyvärr inte säljs i Sverige. 

Recently I've had a thing for lipsticks! For fall/winter, I think it's so pretty with dark lips, especially on others. Unfortunately, I'm still not really comfortable with wearing it. But I've bought a bunch of lipstick lately, so I just have to try to feel confident enough to put on a dark like and go out.

Here are four amazing colors that I just received from the U.S., and they are from Milani, unfortunately they're not sold in Sweden.

RiRi Hearts MAC

För någon dag sedan fick jag mitt efterlängtade paket som innehöll produkter från Rihannas samarbete med MAC, RiRi <3 MAC! Jag hade med två av produkterna i mitt inlägg i fredags men tyckte att produkterna förtjänade en eget inlägg, så jag även kan få med lite swatches. 

Jag kunde själv inte köpa produkterna då inte MAC säljs här, så jag fick be min kära syster att försöka få tag på nåt åt mig. När hon väl var där var det väldigt utplockat men hon lyckades få tag på tre saker till mig, TACK sis! <3

Jag blev kanske lite väl för ivrig att få testa sakerna till den looken jag höll på med när de kom så jag råkade missa läppglanset på bilderna jag tog, men men det kommer bilder på allt här. 

Måste bara säga att jag är en sucker för snygga förpackningar och denna kollektionen är ursnygg! 

A few days ago I received my long awaited package which included products from Rihanna's collaboration with MAC, RiRi <3 MAC! I used two of the products on my look that I posted last Friday, but I think that the products deserved its own post, and I can also do some swatches.

I wasn't able to buy the products myself since MAC isn't sold in my city, so I asked my sister to look around to se if she could get a hold of something. At the time she went to the store, there wasn't much left, but she managed to get hold of three things for me, THANK YOU baby sis! <3

Oh, I'm a sucker for great packaging and this collection is gorgeous - Love it!

I helgen var jag ute och letade efter mörka nagellack, vilket jag gillar att ha på hösten.

Det finns massa snyggt på hyllorna, vilket gör valet lite svårare, men till slut lyckades jag välja ut ett par som jag ville testa på.

Det blev tre lack i från IsaDora, två nya nyanser av Wonder Nails samt ett Sugar Nails vilket är ett matt nagellack med struktur. Fick även med mig två Essie nagellack från höstkollektionen.

 

This weekend I was out looking for some dark nail polish, which I love for fall.
There are a lot of beautiful colours on the shelves, but I managed to pick out a couple that I wanted to try out.
I ended up with three lacquers from IsaDora, two new shades of Wonder Nails and one Sugar Nails which is a matte nail polish with structure. And also two Essie lacquers from the 2013 fall Collection.

Flower Beauty by Drew Berrymore

Som jag nämnt lite snabbt i ett tidigare inlägg så har skådisen Drew Berrymore skapat ett eget sminkmärke, Flower Beauty, som lanserades i januari i USA.

 

Märket bygger på en, enligt mig fin filosofi, att alla konsumenter (endast i USA då dessvärre) ska kunna uppskatta och njuta av produkter i lyxkvalité till ett billigt pris. Priset kan hållas lågt då märket inte gör dyra reklamer (ingen reklam alls), och det är Drew själv som är med på bild på displayerna. Det omfattande sortimentet har allt man kan tänka sig inom makeupväg.   

Företaget tar stolthet i att produkterna är producerade i USA och inte testade på djur.  

 

As I've mentioned briefly in an earlier post, actress Drew Berrymore has created her own makeup line, Flower Beauty, that was launched in the US in January this year.

 

The brand has a nice philosophy that all consumers (unfortunately only in the US) to be able to enjoy  luxury quality makeup to a low price and is only sold at Walmart. The price is kept low because the company doesn't spend money on advertising. Flower Beauty has an extensive range of everything that you can expect from a  makeup line.  

The company takes pride in that the products are made in the USA and crualty free.

Ready, Set, Glow! Blush/Bronzer Duo in Shimmering Goddess. Haven't tried this yet, but I'm pretty sure it's gonna be used a lot this fall!

MAC har en hel uppsjö av olika kajalpennor i härliga färger. De olika jag har testat är Pro Longwear Eye Liner, Powerpoint Eye Pencil, Pearlglide Intense Eye Liner, och Technakohl Liner

Mina två favoritfärger ur dessa är Night Trail som är en härlig, djup midnattsblå metallisk färg och Undercurrant som är en helt fantastisk mörkturkos/grön färg med en ton av guldskimmer i - a-ma-zing!
Det jag gillar mer än färgerna på dessa 4 olika pennor är att de sitter! De glider på hur lätt som helst och när de har torkat så sitter de på plats, hur mycket man än gnuggar!


MAC has heaps of different eyeliner pencils in wide range of colors. The different types I tested are Pro Longwear Eye Liner, Powerpoint Eye Pencil, Pearlglide Intense Eye Liner, and Technakohl Liner

My two favorite colors out of these are Night Trail which is a lovely, deep midnight blue metallic color and Undercurrant which is an absolutely stunning deep teal color with a hint of gold shimmer - a-ma-zing!

What I like more than the colors on these four different pencils is that they stay put! They slide on smoothly and when the color dries, it wont budge!
