Makeup Look - Spring 2015

Hello beauties

Spring is finally here! It feels so good to get rid of the thick jacket and being able to go out with just a cardigan and a pair of cute ballerinas, 

Todays makeup look is cute similar to something I did last spring if I'm not mistaken. But I love to add a pop of color to any color on the lid actually, feels fresh and fun!

Mallorca Makeup Haul 2015

Hello chicas!

Even if I was in Mallorca just for a few days I couldn't resist going to the KiKo store and another beauty store. KiKo is an Italian brand that we don't have in Sweden. Great quality, a big range of everything makeup and to a really affordable price - can't get better then that!

Makeup Look - Topaz

Hola chicas!

I'm currently enjoying a mini vacation in Mallorca visiting my brother and his family. Can't say how wonderful the change of weather feels. I could really get used to this! 

Since I'm away for just a few days I did this look a couple of days ago, cause I still wanted to get a post up. A soft eye pared with this orangey-red lipstick from L'Oréal, a great spring look. I hope you like it and as always the products are listed down below.

Makeup Look - Easter Time

Happy Easter!

No makeup makeup look

Hello beauties,

We've all been there, the alarm on the phone goes off, you snooze and when you wake up to realize that you should be halfway to work/school at that time. Or you're just enjoying some extra sleeping time. Don't panic! With a few simple steps you'll be looking wide awake. 

The look I've done today is really minimal, well at least for me, but it works. You can easily change a few of the steps to whatever you prefer. Without the flick on the outer corner this can also work as a no makeup - makeup look.

Bobbi Brown BB Cream - If you feel more comfortable with foundation then use that
MaxFactor Eye Luminizer, under the eyes and on the lids as well
Sonia Kashuk Cream Blush in Petal - A powder blush works just as well, and if you want add some highlighter to your cheek bones. 

Brows

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Medium Brown - The one thing I don't leave the house with out doing are my brows. If you have brows skip this step for a more natural look.

Eyes 

Smashbox Full Exposure Palette
     - #M4 all over the lid
     - #M2 + M3 on the mobile lid
     - #M7 along the outer part of the lash line and making a small flick - Use any palette with soft neutral colors. Add some shimmer on the center of the eye, in the tear duct or all over the mobile lid for a little extra pop. A nude color in the waterline will open up your eyes if you're looking tired. I already have quite big eyes so I skipped that step today.

March 2015 Beauty Favorites

Då var det dags igen! Förra månaden hade jag inte så många produkter så jag tänkte att jag skulle spara det till slutet av mars i stället. Resultatet blev ett lite större gäng produkter nu.

RIMMEL LASTING FINISH FOUNDATION (SEK 125, finns här)
En riktigt grym foundation! Jag testade concealern först och fastnade direkt, blev väldigt nyfiken på den foundation som fanns i samma serie. Lika nöjd med den. Smälter in i huden, ger en grym täckning och håller verkligen en hel dag. Även om den innehåller SPF 20 så fotograferas den jättefint. 
Rimmel har tagit fram två foundations i denna serie. skillnaden syns på färgen på korken. Röd kork som jag har ger full täckning, varianten med vit kork ger medium täckning. Det otroliga plånboksvänliga priset är en bonus! 

SMASHBOX PHOTO FINISH HYDRATING PRIMER (SEK 310, finns här)

Det är väldigt sällan jag använder en foundation utan en primer under, jag tycker det ger bäst resultat. Den här varianten har använts flitigt under vårt kalla vinterhalvår då jag blir en riktig torris. Hjälper till att hålla ge huden fukt under dagen. Jag använder denna över min vanliga fuktkräm för extra hjälp när huden är extra torr. 

RIMMEL LASTING FINISH CONCEALER 
Den här concealern slår allt! Full täckning, sitter på plats hela dagen och bästa av allt den lägger sig inte i de "fina linjerna", vilket de flesta av mina andra och där bland high end produkter gör. Den är ganska tjock i konsistensen, vilket alla kanske inte gillar men jag tycker som sagt att det är grym. 

DIOR SMOOTHING PLUMPING LIP BALM

Lip balm som inte bara luktar rosor utan hjälper till att hålla läpparna återfuktade och med plumping effect. 

BAREMINERALS READY LUMINIZER DUO (ord. pris SEK 395, kampanjpris här)

Två highlighters i en förpackning, hur smidigt som helst! En rosa- och en guldtonad. Ger hyn en härligt frisk men mjuk lyster.  

MAC CREAM COLOUR BASE (SEK 200, finns här)

i Hush.
En multiprodukt som kan användas hur man vill och var man vill. Denna nyans är ofta slutsåld tyvärr, men lyckades få tag på den till slut och det är jag glad för! Nu har jag mest använt den som highlighter under min foundation för att ge en snygg lyster som lyser igenom. Framåt sommaren och förhoppningsvis lite mer färg i ansiktet kommer den vara snygg ovanpå foundation eller som ögonskugga.  

MAC BEAUTY POWDER
i Hot Sensation.
Ytterligare en highlighter i dagens inlägg! Men denna skiljer sig från de andra två då den inte ger ett skimmer på samma sätt. Använder den på kindbenen men ibland också över min concealer under ögonen.   

LAURA MERCIER (SEK 235, finns här)

Ett puder för att fixera makeupen under ögonen. Kan även användas på de ställen man vill highlighta då den har en uppljusade effekt.  

MAX FACTOR CREME PUFF BLUSH (SEK 125, finns här)

i Seductive Pink, Lovely Pink, Alluring Rose & Nude Mauve
De två sistnämnda mina favoriter. När jag såg dem i butik swatchade jag först Nude Mauve - kärlek vid första ögonkastet! Just den var extremt lik, både i färg och konsistens, en av mina Hourglass Ambiant Light Rouger (som kostar betydligt mer och inte finns i Sverige tyvärr) Underbara färger, superskön textur och ger en fantastisk lyster och mjukt resultat på huden. Dröjde inte många dagar innan jag var tillbaka inne på Kicks och köpte på mig de andra tre färgerna. Är du ute efter en snygg rouge till sommaren rekommenderar jag dessa stark!  

KICKS BLUSHER (SEK 99, finns här)

i Must-Have.
Prisvärt ljusreflekterande rouge. Smälter in fint och ger en naturlig, frisk look.  Finns totalt i 6 olika nyanser.   

NYX BLUSH (SEK 95, finns här)
i Cinnamon.
Också ett prisvärt rouge. Väldigt pigmenterade, sitter på fint hela dagen. Har 3 andra nyanser sedan tidigare, men denna är favoriten just nu och kommer nog användas flitigare då ljusare och varmare dagar är på väg.  
På bilden se den kanske lite skrämmande mörk ut, men det är lite ljusare i verkligheten. Man ska dock inte ta så mycket på borsten, utan börja med väldigt lite och bygg på en starkare intensitet om så önskas. 

MAKE UP STORE MICROSHADOW/MARBLE SHADOW (SEK 145)
I Rosso Asiago & Splash

Har visat upp dessa skuggor i ett tidigare inlägg då jag använde dem i en look. Otroligt fina färger som är riktigt pigmenterade. Läs mer och se swatches här.

KICKS NUDE PALETTE (SEK 229, finns här)

Som namnet avslöjar är det en palett med 8 nudefärger, från ljus till mörk. En mix av matta och skimriga finishes. Kompakt format på platten vilket gör den smidig att ha med när man är på resande fot, riktigt bra pigmenterade skuggor samt ett plånboksvänligt pris! Tidigare inlägg om paletten hittar du här. 

MELT COSMETICS EYESHADOW STACK

Jag var exalterad när denna minipalett kom! Inte ett dugg besviken efter att ha lekt med skuggorna kan jag ju tillägga. 4 otroligt pigmenterade skuggor som går i de tonerna jag älskar. Går att göra mycket med enbart dessa skuggor, men många gånger använder jag dem enskilt i andra looker då jag verkligen gillar kvalitén på dessa. Tidigare inlägg om paletten hittar du här.

ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS LIQUID LIPSTICK 

i Sad Girl, Vintage and Hollywood. 
Heltäckande, matt läppstift i lippgloss-format. Har skrivits och pratats om dessa skuggor överallt på sociala medier, och de är faktiskt så grymma som folk säger. Sitter på plats så länge du vill att de ska sitta. Kommer i ett gäng olika nyanser.

Underbar formula som ger mjuka glansiga läppar. kommer i olika nyanser, men resultatet blir olika på alla.
