Skin care - Peter Thomas Roth

Hello ladies

Hudvård skriver jag inte så mycket om här, men det är något som jag personligen tycker är viktigt och testar gärna nya produkter. Först och främst så sitter sminket mycket bättre om man tar hand om huden, peeling för att få bort döda hudceller, rengöring för att få bort allt tidigare smink, och återfuktning som huden behöver. En bra hudvårdsregim hjälper även till att få huden att se fräsch ut och vissa jobbar även mot fina linjer och/eller pigmentfläckar.

Hälsade på min svägerska Anna-Karin som jobbar som hudterapeut på Salongen i Jönköping City idag. Där hade de fått in ett travelkit från Peter Thomas Roth, ett märke som jag läst mycket om och även testat tidigare. Jag har ju inte skrivit så mycket om hudvård tidigare så jag tänkte att jag skulle passa på att dela med mig lite idag!

Peter Thomas Roth är ett ledande märke inom hudvård. Med flera olika serier som jobbar speciellt att motverka/framhäva ditt bästa JAG. Grundaren var inte nöjd med utbudet på marknaden så han bestämde sig för att framställa ett sortiment skapat med effektiva ingredienser och avancerad teknik för att passa alla hudtyper och behov.

Jag har stött på Peter Thomas Roth tidigare och gillat resultatet. Min nya favorit är Rose Stem Cell-serien och idag hittade jag som sagt ett travelkit som innehöll:

Rose Stem Cell Bio Repair Cleansing Gel (100ml)

Denna ansiktsrengöring, som passa alla hudtyper, innehåller extrakt av 9 olika rosor som tillsammans har en anti-aging effekt. Den är djuprengörande, avlägsnar makeup och döda hudceller. Jobbar även med att minska fina linjer och ge lyster till huden. Den enda av dessa tre produkter som jag faktiskt inte testat tidigare, så det ser jag fram emot. Originalstorlek 250 ml ca SEK 329

Rose Stem Cell Bio Repair Gel Mask (50ml)

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! Även masken innehåller 9 olika rosor, 5 stamceller och 4 extrakt. Den är även berikad med Vitamin A & C för att hjälpa irriterad hud. Det är en uppstramande askungemask som hjälper till att motverkar bland annat fina linjer och torrhet. Jag har testat den här masken tidigare och är supernöjd med den. Känns härlig på huden och resultatet blir en hud som strålar. Originalstorlek 150 ml ca SEK 419

Som det står på burken är den här produkten To die for! Mjukgörande läppbalm som innehåller bland annat sheasmör och Vitamin E. Luktar ljuvligt och funkar faktiskt. Detta är dessutom en full size produkt. Ca SEK 189

Glossybox - January 2015

Hello beautiful friends!

Can you believe it's already the end of the first month of 2015? Ah well, January is almost over and today it's time for the first Glossybox of the year. 

There was no post on the last Glossybox of 2014, the reason for that is very simple. In all the Christmas and New Years stress I totally forgot to pick it up from the post office haha. Hopefully I'll get it resent to me!

Make Up Store Microshadow in Flamenco - Full size eyeshadow. Their eyeshadows have really high quality and pigmentation. Luckily I didn't have this shade in my collection. 

Absolute New York Garlic Nail Treatment - I must say that this product scares me a bit, but definitely trying it out and hopefully it works.

Eyes 
I knew I was going to use a jumbo pencil all over the mobile eye lid so I did not use a eyeshadow primer for this look. 

MAC Eyeshadow in Soft Brown as the transition color (in the crease and a bit above to make the blending of the darker colors easier) 

MAC Eyeshadow in Copperplate & Typographic in the eye socket to define the crease

Sephora Jumbo Liner 12H Wear in Black all over the mobile lid, doesn't have to be neat, just make sure to blend it out towards the crease. 

Inglot Eyeshadow in No 63 to set the black pencil we just put down on the lid, make sure to blend

Make Up For Ever Aqua Cream Waterproof Cream Color in Shade 27 along the top lash line from the inner corner out to a wing, a quite thick line underneath the lower lash line but stop before the inner corner and make a small flick downwards. Then run the cream color or a regular black khol liner in the top and bottom waterline

Add a coat of mascara, I used L'oréal Volume Million Lashes Excess

As a last touch add a white liner in the inner corner between the black liner. 
I used Stila Kajal Eye Liner in Pearl

YSL Volupte Tint-in-Oil

Hello ladies, 

Recently YSL came out with a new lip product, Volupte Tint-in-Oil. I hadn't heard about it until I say it in the shops, and you guessed right - I had to try it! 

Everything about it excited me, the packaging, the formula and the color. So I thought I'd do a post about it and spread the word :)

-A revolutinary lip color with a lip tint suspended in a deep conditioning oil-

As the name revels this product is a lip tint in an oil infused formula. Four essential oils makes this product very nourishing for the lips, it's definitely non-sticky and feels very lightweight, whilst giving your lips a luminous shine and color. 

This product is like nothing I've ever tried before. the formula is so smooth and just glides on the lips. the color builds up after a few minutes. when the oil sets in your lips the color is still there, it doesn't wear off. It's available in 8 beautiful shades and the price is apx. $32 (ca. 270 SEK)

Nouba Single Eyeshadow on the center of the mobile lid. The number of the shade has been rubbed off, tried finding it online but no luck. But you can use any metallic bronze shadow you might have.  

Make Up Store Microshadow in Spirit, in the inner and outer corner of the eye, then softly connected the two sides in the crease.

I started with priming the lid with Laura Mercier Eye Basics primer in Wheat.

Tarte Bon Voyage Collector's Set Eyeshadows
     - Merci you later in the crease as the transition color, remember to blend so there wont be any harsh lines. 
     - Boudoir Noir on the outer part of the lid in a triangle shape, like a thick winged liner
     - Le Cordon Bleu following the shape of the first color and blending inwards
     - Marseille The World on the inner part of the mobile lid
     - Chantilly Lace on the brow bone for some high light

New Year, New Beginnings

Hello beautiful ladies, 

It's been forever since I've posted something here. Chaotic doesn't even describe my past few weeks. But now that Christmas and all other holidays have past and things are starting slow down there'll hopefully be some changes. 

For new years I put up a few new goals that I want to reach, one of those is to be much more consistent with my blog posts. I was also thinking of maybe also doing some more personal posts, but need to think about it a little bit more!
